Our Team

Ted and Lisa Murdoch are the heart and soul of The Eye Site. Sure, they couldnʼt run The Eye Site without their great staff and doctors but itʼs their energy and attitude that create the environment at The Eye Site.

While working together at a large chain they learned how to be retailers, how to think outside the box and how to care for customers in a value driven environment. Ted and Lisa purchased The Eye Site in 1995. The Eye Site has been the same location since it originally opened in 1987.

The Eye Site strongly believes in commitment to the community and has created two programs to give back.

The Care & Comfort Campaign with the Mustard Seed (winter)
In exchange for a discount on their eye wear, customers bring in blankets throughout the winter months which are donated.

The Give it Up Campaign with the Calgary Interfaith Foodbank (summer)
In exchange for a discount on their eye wear, customers bring in food which is donated.
